Adinkrahene
The Ashanti tribe ofGhana have for centuries produced a fabric named Adinkra that is stamped orprinted with ancient symbols. The cloth is worn by Ghanaians on specialoccasions like festivals, weddings and funerals.
Among the mostrecognizable symbols is the Adinkrahene, a series of concentric circles thatrepresents the King of Adinkra. The design is a symbol of greatness, strength,charisma and benevolence.
